Durham Recruiting has a very exciting Territory Sales role available with one of our larger clients here in the Durham Region. With uncapped commission and achievable six-figure compensation package into your second and third year with well above that achievable during your tenure if you have experience selling to manufacturing, logistics and industrial companies here in Durham, Ontario and nationwide we want to hear from you!

 

The Opportunity:

 

In a nutshell, this role will have you on the road the majority of your week. If you are not out prospecting, setting up meetings and closing sales you are to be in the office meeting with your support team and your fellow sales team. In order to successfully sell our clients product that helps with inventory, experience selling to manufacturing, logistics and industrial companies is a must.

 

This is a true hunter sales role in that there are no leads given to you and you are expected to make all of your own connections. Not only will you be selling the product but you will also become a project manager throughout the install process. You will ensure the project is on time, your client is happy throughout the entire process right through to follow-up into years after install asking for referrals and working with their sister companies. This is an A to Z sales role that isn’t for the faint of heart.

What We Need From You:

  • 7+ years selling in the manufacturing / industrial or logistics industries
  • Must own your own car to be considered for this role with a valid G License
  • Must be able to travel throughout North America
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience not only selling but being the Account Manager on all your sales
  • Ability to retain, nurture and increase sales/referrals of current clients – must enjoy communicating with clients after the install is complete
  • Great computer skills and experience working with CRM’s
  • Ability to prioritize and self-motivate
