Durham Recruiting has a very exciting Territory Hunter Sales role available with a new client coming to Durham at the end of next month from the West end of Toronto. We are so excited that another great company has chosen Durham as their home (with a 200 000sq’ warehouse currently being built). With this role, you will be speaking to grocery, manufacturing, logistics and industrial companies within Durham, Ontario and Nationwide. Those with connections to these types of companies will do very well in this role.


The Opportunity:


In a nutshell, this sales role will have you out on the road in true hunter style prospecting and closing sales. This is for the true hunter salesperson as once you close the sale the account is handed over to the account manager to process and manage the project. You get to bring the sales in while the team takes care of the account! Perfectly made for someone who LOVES landing the sale but isn’t always interested in ensuring the success of the account.


While you don’t have to see the project through to completion you are expected to build a relationship with your clients as they are your best bet for referrals within Ontario and across the country. Amazing opportunity to first find your product (our client buys a high-volume used product) and then turn around and sell the product (once it has been refurbished). This is a high-volume product with HUGE potential.

What We Need From You:

  • 5+ years selling in the grocery/manufacturing / industrial or logistics industries
  • Must own your own car to be considered for this role with a valid G License
  • Must be able to travel throughout North America
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Solid track record of being a sales hunter
  • Ability to build relationships with ease in order to be able to ask for referrals or business with ‘sister’ companies throughout Canada and the United States
  • Great computer skills and experience working with CRM’s
  • Ability to prioritize and self-motivate
